Abstract

This article is the second in a 30-part Structural Diagnostic Lattice series, published between June and July 2026. The series provides a mechanistic, first-principles map of modern institutional, technological, financial, and cognitive systems. "The Invisible Game" maps the architecture of structural capture, exposing how sovereign platforms use three layers—somatic, cognitive, and emotional—to engineer independent innovation into obsolescence. It establishes that the ultimate objective is to transition from a corporation operating within a regulatory framework to becoming the de facto environment that defines the rules of the framework itself. The article concludes that true architectural independence cannot be won by reforming or competing within the capture frames, but only by a complete exit, built from a physics-first foundation and governed by its own self-evident, structural invariants. This analysis provides the foundational framework for understanding institutional capture, linking directly to subsequent articles on frame control, epistemic consensus, and the enclosure of free thought.
