Enabling cooperative design tasks – a collaboration platform by using web services

From the point of view of the building industry, new requirements of a project platform are developed. For the settlement of these claims, a web services based approach is proposed. An architecture of such a collaboration platform is described. Opportunities and obstacles are discussed. Experiences of a concrete implementation are summarized.
