A Numerically Analytical Method for Determining the Limiting Degrees of Diophantine Equations and a Proof of Fermat's Last Theorem

AbstractThis paper presents an original numerically analytical method for investigating the solvability of Diophantine equations in integers, demonstrated through Fermat's Last Theorem. Unlike modern academic approaches that rely on geometry and continuous integral analysis of elliptic curves, the proposed method is entirely discrete and integral-free. The approach is based on the decomposition of exponential equation components using Newton's binomial theorem, followed by the analysis of extreme values of positive integer differences. By evaluating isolated summands of the resulting binomial expansion at the system's critical point, a strict functional constraint on the exponent \(n\) is derived. The method is applied to the classical three-term equation, establishing the upper limit \(n < 3\), and is further extrapolated to equations with an arbitrary number of terms to determine their solvability thresholds.
