Economia Azul e Turismo Náutico: Tecnologias de Mapeamento Aplicadas ao Planejamento de Estruturas Náuticas em Florianópolis (SC)

The Blue Economy seeks to reconcile economic development with the conservation of aquatic ecosystems. This study analyzes the planning of nautical infrastructure in Florianópolis (SC), Brazil, as a case study, relating tourism, sustainability, and mapping technologies. Territorial analysis, a technical assessment matrix, field surveys, bathymetry, and side-scan sonar imaging were integrated. Of the eight areas analyzed, five were classified as highly favorable and three as favorable. The results indicate that the integration of geospatial and acoustic data improves the preliminary selection of areas and may support the orderly development of nautical tourism.
