FOOTBALL SCHOOLS LINKED TO CLUBS IN THE 2026 BRAZILIAN CHAMPIONSHIP SÉRIE A

This study characterized football schools linked to clubs competing in the 2026 Brazilian Championship Série A, considering the clubs’ locations and the publicly disclosed institutional and pedagogical information. A descriptive documentary study was conducted using public sources consulted in October 2026. Of the 20 clubs, 12 (60%) were headquartered in the Southeast, five (25%) in the South, two (10%) in the Northeast, and one (5%) in the North. Institutional directories and localized Google Maps searches yielded 891 school-unit records across 17 networks: 415 in the Southeast, 380 in the South, 60 in the North, 65 in the Northeast, and 49 in the Central-West. The findings describe publicly available records and do not assess pedagogical quality.
