Development of an Integrated Enterprise Data Analytics Framework for Optimizing Financial and Operational Performance in Saudi Manufacturing Industries
Saudi manufacturing firms are under growing pressure to improve productivity, cost discipline and decision speed while supporting industrial diversification. Although enterprise resource planning, shop-floor systems and predictive analytics are increasingly discussed, the literature rarely specifies how operational signals should be reconciled with finance-grade definitions before managers authorize decisions. This critical integrative review develops an integrated enterprise data analytics framework that connects operational event capture, governed data products, causal diagnosis, financial translation and accountable intervention. The review distinguishes adoption conditions from value-realization mechanisms and assesses tensions involving data latency, model portability, management control and small-firm constraints. Four conceptual figures articulate the architecture, value-conversion logic, decision cycle and staged adoption sequence. Three tables contrast selected empirical evidence and present transparent, hypothetical performance and investment scenarios; these scenarios are not observations from Saudi factories. The synthesis indicates that integration creates defensible value only when operational improvements can be traced to validated financial consequences, adverse effects are measured, and decision rights remain explicit. The article offers a testable conceptual contribution and a practical evaluation agenda consistent with industrial capability building in Saudi Arabia.
