The Mechanical Gearbox of the Vacuum

AbstractThis paper introduces an alternative engineering model of the vacuum, treating space not as an empty continuum but as a highly rigid elastic lattice under persistent tension. We demonstrate that fundamental constants like the von Klitzing quantum resistance, the wave impedance of space, and the speed of light are not independent parameters but cascaded outputs of a unified mechanical gearbox. By using the inverse fine structure constant (137.036) as a primary reduction gear, the system maps pure circle geometry (2 * Pi) into concrete quantum resistance barriers. The exact value of the speed of light is derived directly from this rotational coupling, proving that electromagnetic resistance is fundamentally governed by the mechanical friction of the vacuum network.
