APPLICATIONS OF ST-T1024 FOR IMAGES AND VIDEOS : On the Domains Where a Visual Decision Has a Consequence, Must Be Attributed, and Must Be Bounded
The architecture paper states the mechanism. This paper states the market. The application space is large, and it is bounded by a single test. A domain belongs in this paper if three things are true at once: The visual decision has a consequence. Not a recommendation, not a draft, not a candidate.A rejection, an approval, a diagnosis, a certification, a refusal. Something that changes what happens next. The decision must be attributed. Someone must be able to ask who decided, on what basis, and when — and get an answer that survives a regulator, a court, or an audit. The decision must be bounded. The system must be able to say "this is outside what I canassess" rather than guessing. The refusal must be a first-class output, not an error.Every domain that passes all three tests is in scope. Every domain that fails any one of themis not. The paper lists the domains, states what is certifiable in each, and names what is not. Itdoes not claim any of them is deployed. No visual tile exists.
