O estado de conectividade tecnológica como fator de demanda sobre a atenção humana
Technological connectivity has made digital stimuli recurrent during cognitively demanding activities. This study analyzes the effects of excessive exposure to this state on human attention and its repercussions on work and education. An exploratory and analytical qualitative literature study examines evidence on device presence, notifications, and interruptions. Results indicate that mere device presence does not consistently impair cognition, whereas competing stimuli may affect performance. The risk therefore depends less on technology itself than on the architecture of connectivity.
