Perspectiva da drenagem de água para minério de ferro supersaturado a partir de ensaios de drenagem com manta geotêxtil

This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of draining accumulated water from an ore load using an experimental bench equipped with a geotextile layer. The tests were conducted using three acrylic towers mounted on a vibrating table to promote gradual compaction of the ore. After loading each tower with 4 kg of ore, 1 L of water was added. Following drainage, an additional 1 L of water containing an ore suspension was added to assess the permeability of the geotextile. The results showed an ore compaction rate of 30% and a mass loss through the drains of 0.16%. It was concluded that the geotextile prevented significant mass losses while allowing water to pass through.
