Instrument of discrimination between declarative surface and HTML surface — methodological annex

This annex documents the instrument used in the pre-registered study 10.5281/zenodo.23934434. The instrument tells apart, within an answer observed in an AI system’s user interface, what originates from a machine-readable declarative file and what originates from the HTML pages carrying the same statements. The files are embargoed until 31 March 2027. The instrument is not disclosed before then, so that its publication cannot influence the systems under observation during the measurement windows. The annex is deposited before any collection, so that its content is dated and fixed.
