Implementation of the Project-Based Learning Model to Improve Learning Outcomes IPAS Kelas V SD Negeri Lahendong

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) on the material of Ecosystems and the relationship between living things. Through the Application of Project Based Learning Model to Improve the learning outcomes of Grade V Ipas SD Negeri Lahendong. The PjBL model was chosen because it can encourage students to be more active, creative, and directly involved in the learning process through contextual projects. This study uses a classroom action approach (PTK) which is implemented in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 12 students of grade V SD Negeri Lahendong. The technique of collecting test results data was taken with a formula using the percentage of classical learning completeness. The results of the study showed an increase in student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I, student learning outcomes reached an average value of 68%, after improvements were made in cycle II, student learning outcomes reached an average value of 80%. The average student score increased, and student involvement in learning activities also increased. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning model is effective in improving students' science learning outcomes on the material Ecosystems and the Relationships Between Living Things.
