Spacetime, Motion, Wave–Particle Duality, Observers, and Yang–Mills Theory within the GDUM Framework
the three-layer architecture of GDUM—comprising the programmatic layer, the computational layer, and the representational layer—general relativity, quantum mechanics, wave–particle duality, cosmic kinematics, and gauge interactions are none of them bottom-level ontological presuppositions; rather, they are effective descriptions at different hierarchical levels, emergent from the topological substrate through readable geometric windows. The deepest level of the theory contains only a timeless, geometry-less, causality-free double-sheeted ℤ₂ covering structure, the Deck orientation-conjugation symmetry, second-order homotopy topological residues, and the axiom of global topological flux conservation; it contains no field, particle, wave, spacetime evolution, gauge degree of freedom, or any other representational-layer physical structure. Only when the global readout functor satisfies the integrability condition, a four-dimensional Lorentzian structure stably emerges, and the speed of light calibrates the global light-cone causal boundary, do general relativity and quantum mechanics come to correspond respectively to two effective readout modes at different coarse-graining scales, constituting the entire dynamical basis of the observable universe accessible to humanity.
