Today, training in office automation tools can promote the development of ICT skills aimed at fostering job opportunities and entrepreneurship in rural communities in Costa Rica, while considering the specific social, economic, and educational characteristics of each community's context. This research implemented a digital literacy program for adults based on a context-linked, interactive learning model that integrated participatory strategies, content, and pedagogical approaches adapted to local realities. Furthermore, meaningful learning was fostered through practical activities focused on solving real-world problems. The study contributes by demonstrating the effectiveness of contextualized approaches in bridging the digital divide and strengthening productive capacities, offering a replicable model for ICT training programs in rural settings and among vulnerable populations.
