Aplicação da equação de Arrhenius na análise cinética da produção de hidrogênio por corrosão alcalina da liga Al-3Mg-0,5Fe
This study investigated the Arrhenius equation applied to hydrogen production through the alkaline corrosion of the Al-3Mg-0.5Fe alloy in NaOH solutions (1, 2, and 4 mol·L⁻¹) at temperatures between 30 and 50 °C. Increasing both temperature and NaOH concentration enhanced H₂ production and flow rate, reaching a maximum of approximately 1,130 mL·g⁻¹·cm⁻² and 15.0 mL·min⁻¹ at 4 mol·L⁻¹ and 50 °C. The results indicate predominant surface reaction control during the initial stages, followed by an increasing influence of mass transfer limitations and corrosion product accumulation.
