Variação sazonal da relação peso-comprimento em três espécies de Elasmobranchii pela Costa Sul-Sudeste do Brasil

The present study evaluated the seasonal variation in the length-weight relationship of three Elasmobranchii species (Gymnura altavela, Narcine brasiliensis and Rhinoptera bonasus) along the southern and southeastern coast of Brazil. A total of 280 specimens were analyzed, collected in 2010, 2015, 2016, and from 2018 to 2024. The relationship was significant only for Narcine brasiliensis when disc width was considered. The observed variations may be associated with the biological and ecological characteristics of each species, as well as with the seasonal composition of the sample.
