Discurso Institucional e Dado Oficial: A invisibilidade estatística das práticas integrativas e complementares em saúde em Santos e na Baixada Santista

This article compares official records of Integrative and Complementary Health Practices (ICHPs) in the Health Information System for Primary Care (SISAB) with the provision declared by the municipality of Santos, testing the hypothesis of statistical invisibility of municipal provision. Methods: documentary study using SISAB data (TABNET, January to December 2025) and the response of the Santos Municipal Health Department obtained through a Freedom of Information request, covering the same period. Results: the Baixada Santista region recorded 390 procedures in 2025, of which 300 (76.9%) in Santos, almost all acupuncture; of the ten modalities declared, nine show no records. Conclusion: the gap suggests an information flow failure, and an audit is recommended
