A Survey on Artificial Intelligence Based Investment Planning and Risk Assessment Methodologies
Artificial Intelligence has transformed investment operations, corporate risk management and financial systems. This survey reviews and synthesizes theoretical frameworks, technological variations and implications of AI deployment across investment funds and financial systems. We map AI applications across front-end investor engagement (robo-advisors and customer-support chatbots) and back-end execution (algorithmic trading, predictive analytics, screening analysis and automated technical analysis). While AI frameworks significantly enhance operational efficiency, they also introduce challenges including algorithmic bias, data-quality dependencies and cybersecurity vulnerabilities. This paper provides a framework for balancing algorithmic efficiency with human oversight, offering strategic insights for future research and industry practitioners.
