O Ensino de Ecologia na Educação Básica brasileira: tensões curriculares, desafios epistemológicos e perspectivas para uma Abordagem Socioambiental Crítica

This study analyzes, through a narrative literature review, the teaching of ecology in Brazilian basic education, seeking to identify curricular tensions, epistemological challenges, and perspectives for a Critical Socio-environmental Approach (CSA). The results highlight challenges related to the fragmentation of ecological knowledge, the naturalistic approach, and the integration of ecology, environmental education, and diverse forms of knowledge. It is concluded that the CSA offers a perspective for strengthening ecology education that is contextualized, interdisciplinary, and critical.
