DOCTOR OR ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: WHO SHOULD BE TRUSTED WITH LIFE-AND-DEATH DECISIONS?
This thesis examines the opportunities and limitations of artificial intelligence in modern medicine. Particular attention is paid to the relationship between physicians and AI systems when making decisions that affect patients’ lives and health. Artificial intelligence can support medical image analysis, laboratory data processing, disease risk assessment, and clinical decision-making. However, its outputs are not always completely accurate and must be evaluated by qualified medical professionals.
