MULTI-CRITERIA SELECTION OF A CARTOGRAPHIC METHOD FOR THE ENERGY FACILITIES CADASTRE SELECTING AN OPTIMAL CARTOGRAPHIC METHOD FOR THE STATE CADASTRE OF ENERGY FACILITIES: A MULTI-CRITERIA APPROACH (CASE OF SAMARKAND REGION, UZBEKISTAN)
Five cartographic methods for mapping the state cadastre of energy facilities were compared against six criteria using an additive multi-criteria model. The vector GIS method scored highest on five of the six criteria, while geodetic surveying ensured the highest positional accuracy. Based on these results, an integrated vector GIS-cartographic method with geodetic control is proposed and applied to 3,691 energy facilities in Samarkand region, Uzbekistan.
