Adiabatic Continuity, Assumed: Landau's Fermi-Liquid Correspondence, the Relations It Returns, and the Instabilities at Its Edge
Census pricing (row CC-116) of the founding step of Landau's 'The Theory of a Fermi Liquid,' Zh. Eksp. Teor. Fiz. 30, 1058 (1956), with 'Oscillations in a Fermi Liquid,' 32, 59 (1957), against a fixed bench (what is postulated, what is derived, what the postulates return numerically, what they cannot reach). The step is one correspondence postulate -- the interacting system's low-lying states assumed in one-to-one adiabatic correspondence with the free Fermi gas's -- plus the per-material Landau parameter set, phenomenological inputs throughout (all notebook values are declared bench values, not any material's parameters). Verified in the notebook (9 checks, exit 0): m*/m = 1 + F1s/3 returns 1.000 / 1.500 / 2.000 / 2.800 / 3.000 across the declared grid with the specific-heat ratio equal to it; at one combined bench point the compressibility ratio is 0.1818 and the spin susceptibility ratio exactly 4.000; zero sound is solved exactly from the l = 0 dispersion relation, s = 1.0051 at F0s = 0.5 to 3.2568 at F0s = 30. Remainders at full size: no parameter is computed for any material; the stability boundaries are unguarded (compressibility ratio 200.00 at F0s = -0.99, diverging at -1; m*/m = 0.0333 at F1s = -2.9); and in any attractive pairing channel, however weak, the correspondence fails outright with no threshold. Scout-grade verification disclosed on the manuscript's face (CC-91 form): no verbatim quotation, no page-specific claim. EXTENSION. Vacuum catastrophe NOT SOLVED; quantum gravity NOT SOLVED.
