Technological innovation and community knowledge management as a regional development strategy: the case of the Sembrando Vida program in Chontalpa, Tabasco
Sustainable regional development requires the articulation of technological innovation and community knowledge management to strengthen inclusion and territorial governance in vulnerable productive systems. This paper analyzes the implementation of a web system, designed under a mixed applied research methodology, for the beneficiaries of the Sembrando Vida Program in the Chontalpa region, Tabasco, which impacts over 10,825 farmers. A non-experimental, descriptive-analytical study was structured using Likert-scale questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, and direct observation to evaluate technological appropriation and usability. Results show that the system acts as an injection of Structural Capital that reduces the digital divide, fosters Relational Capital, and facilitates the transition toward a competitive Social and Solidarity Economy Organization. It is concluded that contextualized social technologies combat rural disorganization, establishing a baseline to evaluate comprehensive productivity through models adapted to Industry 4.0.
