My Financial Literacy Survey at GDC Larkano
This report summarises a six-question survey of 80 students at Government Degree College Larkano, Sindh, Pakistan, conducted in October 2026. It explores spending habits, understanding of inflation and compound interest, recognition of suspicious investment offers, sources of financial guidance, and willingness to attend a personal finance course. Correct responses ranged from 25% to 30% across the three knowledge questions. The report presents the author’s reflections on the findings and their relevance to the Financial Literacy Society’s teaching. Results describe the students surveyed and do not establish an overall financial-literacy rate. This is a short summary of the survey described in the original research report. It has not undergone peer review.
