Special relativity in infinitely many ambient geometries: geometric-time locking and propagating spacetime planes in the Omniverse

The success of special relativity does not, by itself, establish thatfour dimensions exhaust physical geometry. In this article, I show thatits core kinematics and specified reference field dynamics can berecovered exactly on four-dimensional planes within infinitely manyambient geometries, without compactifying the additional coordinates.Minkowski geometry remains valid on each selected plane. What is notuniquely determined is the complete geometry containing it. The construction has three spatial directions and any finite numberK ≥ 1of geometric-time (GT) directions. These GT coordinates haveunits of length; they are not additional physical clocks. Geometric-timelocking (GTL) restricts physical support to one selected GT direction, called a carrier, together with the three spatial directions. Theresulting four-plane has exactly Minkowskian intrinsic geometry. Withthe stated clock calibration and tangential field actions, it reproducesthe Lorentz transformations, proper-time relations, and scalar andMaxwell reference dynamics. For K > 1, the remaining GT coordinates stay noncompact. They do notenter the specified intrinsic dynamics or reference measurements becauseof the support restriction, rather than because they have been madesmall or periodic. GTL therefore provides an alternative tocompactification for hiding additional coordinates in these models. The restriction is prescribed here; a dynamical explanation of whyfields remain on the selected support requires further work. The Noether calculation begins with a directed action that retains theunit carrier and the independent sector and branch signs. These factorsremain in the current and charge; they are not attached to a scalarresult afterward. Within this framework, the primitive translationquantity is vector-valued geo-momentum. The familiar scalar calledenergy is obtained by contracting that momentum with the appropriateGT velocity. Ordinary intrinsic translation generators and theirconservation laws remain valid, but energy is not introduced as aseparate primitive ambient charge. This explains why negative geo-momentum need not mean negative energy. On the sector-aligned positive-frequency branch, an antiverseparticle's momentum points opposite to the chosen reference carrier. Its GT velocity points in the same reversed direction, so their scalarcontraction is positive. Reversing both aligned vectors leaves theenergy readout unchanged: the scalar does not retain the orientationsign carried by the vector. "Negative geo-momentum" here means anegative component along the reference carrier, not a negative norm.A projection along one fixed reference direction can still be negative. The distinction also matters for conservation. Vector components cancancel while their positive magnitudes add. A three-carrier examplemakes this explicit: two outgoing momenta have the same combined GTvector as the incoming momentum, but their carrier-adapted energyreadouts add to twice the incoming value. Every readout uses the samespeed calibration. A fixed common projection of the total vectorremains conserved, but it is not the sum of contractions taken alongthe different carriers. If a complete interacting directed actionadmits such a transition, it would conserve geo-momentum whileviolating conservation of the summed carrier-adapted scalar energies. The example establishes the vector balance, not the existence of anallowed reaction; the interaction and its complete conservation lawsmust determine whether the process can occur. A separate free-field calculation examines the normal/antiverse sectorfold. For a matched pair satisfying the stated spectral assumptions, the action-weighted vacuum contractions cancel as distributions beforecoincidence and spatial charge integration. The relative sign isinherited from the action, not chosen afterward to subtract separatelydivergent charges. The paired free Noether charge has no residualvacuum constant to regularize or subtract, and the calculation imposesneither normal-ordering subtraction nor an ultraviolet cutoff. Thefree oscillator bilinears also satisfy doubled commutator identities.Their Poincaré comparison requires compatible one-particle symmetriesand operator domains. The article then develops the description of independently labeledpropagating spacetime planes. Propagation refers to the advance oftheir spatial sections along a GT carrier as local clock readingsincrease; it does not introduce an external time in which entirespacetimes move. Normal and antiverse histories have opposite GT drifts, while both local clocks run forward. Distinct field populations canshare a geometric support or have coincident ambient positions withoutinteracting. An explicit diagonal Maxwell model establishes directoptical isolation, while operational non-signaling requires a separatefactorization assumption. A prescribed classical contact illustratesthe additional dynamics needed for a response, and a causal-orderingargument constrains repeated transfers. Twin comparisons show howdifferent ambient histories can have the same intrinsic Minkowskidescription without changing the usual within-plane clock predictions. Allowing the carrier direction to vary leads beyond the fixed-planegeometry. For the radial construction studied here, simultaneouscoordinate and ambient tangent locking forces the carrier to remainconstant. When turning is allowed, the paper derives the induced metricand distinguishes the condition for Lorentzian signature from thecondition that a chosen family of sections be spacelike. A smoothcurved example admits a global Cauchy slicing even where its originalconstant-coordinate sections cease to be spacelike. This article establishes the geometric foundation for the broaderO-QFT, HOUQFT, G-HOUQFT, and related density-functional researchprogramme. Its purpose is to present that foundation as a self-containedresult: the core special-relativistic reference physics can arise ininfinitely many ambient geometries, with additional noncompactcoordinates excluded from the prescribed physical support. The broader programme takes up the dynamical questions that thisgeometric construction leaves open. Interacting-current finiteness andthe development of gravitational and gauge unification are investigatedin the wider field-theoretic formulations. The G-HOUQFT support-groupoidextension examines physical vacuum stability and the conditions underwhich transfers between independently labeled planes are admissible. The related density-functional work explores further consequences ofthe same underlying framework. Those analyses require their own actionsand additional physical assumptions; reproducing them here would gowell beyond the purpose of this article. The central conclusion is that exact agreement with special relativitydoes not uniquely select four-dimensional Minkowski spacetime as thecomplete physical geometry. Establishing this nonuniqueness opens aquestion that the broader programme seeks to answer: what observableconsequences follow when the additional geometric structure enters thedynamics? Evidence for extra directions or populated planes must comefrom such distinguishing consequences, rather than from the geometricconstruction alone.
