SEMANTICS OF THE MARRIAGE OF CONVENIENCE MOTIF AND CLASSIFICATION OF ITS INVARIANT FORMULA

ABSTRACT The article analyzes the concepts of marriage and marriage of convenience from a socio-psychological perspective, while the marriage-of-convenience motif itself is examined within a literary and cultural context. It also identifies the invariant boundary of the marriage-of-convenience motif complex and its conditional formula, with particular attention paid to the issue of designating this motif complex by the term “marriage of convenience”.
