THE CONSTRAINT-CAPACITY-REALIZATION COUPLING THEORY (CCRCT)

The Constraint-Capacity-Realization Coupling Theory (CCRCT) is proposed as a medium-independent framework for analyzing the relationship between latent orientation, functional requirements, usable resources, effective capacity, constraints, observable realization, adaptation, and sustained system viability. CCRCT's central distinction involves having an intention or goal, possessing practical capacity for pursuit, realizing a specified function, and maintaining that function over a defined period. The framework originates from a resource-constrained relationship case: individuals may sincerely care for others while lacking financial resources, secure accommodation, or practical opportunities required for particular shared activities. The case illustrates why material resources facilitate some forms of relational functioning without serving as necessary proof of love or as sufficient conditions for relationship quality. The proposed generalization replaces domain-specific terms with abstract constructs while requiring every application to define system boundaries, functions, measurement rules, and viability conditions. The blueprint specifies an ontology, system boundaries, construct definitions, functional requirements, resource and constraint architectures, a core coupling mechanism, mathematical candidate models, temporal dynamics, feedback, substitution, multi-agent interactions, propositions, boundary cases, operationalization, validation, falsifiability, domain transfer, and a research roadmap. Equations are explicitly presented as candidate formalizations, not as empirically established universal laws. The framework organizes testable explanations across domains, not replacing established domain-specific theories without comparative evidence. Keywords: effective capacity; functional requirements; resource constraints; latent orientation; realization; substitution; adaptation; system viability; relationship sustainability; mathematical modeling.
