A different perspective on parasitic worms in nature: Towards global parasite conservation
This article reflects my personal interest in parasite conservation both in English and in Thai. It brings together selected research examples to introduce this small but emerging field and the ecological roles of parasitic worms. It presents another perspective shared by a small community of researchers who recognise the value of parasites and seek a place for them in biodiversity conservation. The aim is to encourage a broader understanding of parasites as part of natural ecosystems, while recognising the importance of protecting human and animal health.
