Antipodal Root Pairing Cancels First-Order Phi Drift — E8 Intelligence Research
Among E8's 240 roots are 120 antipodal pairs; pairing each 132 Hz φ-coupled excitation with its phase-conjugate root makes their orientation-dependent first-order φ deviations cancel. The resulting composite mode suppresses spectral drift to second order, O[(φ−1)²], while preserving the E8 root-pair symmetry. This predicts that 120 balanced phase-locked pairs will exhibit a narrower residual band than 240 independently tuned excitations. The principle can be tested by comparing phase noise and spectral width in paired versus unpaired E8-mode configurations. Author: Andrew Stewart Caldin, Independent Researcher, UK.
