The Determining Factors for the Export Values of Coffee Derivation Products in Ten Main Coffee-Exporting Countries

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the export performance of the world's largest coffee derivative products exporters in the period 2004–2023, namely Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, the United States, Netherlands, Brazil, United Kingdom, Spain, and Poland. This study uses the panel data regression analysis method to examine the effects of RCA, Foreign Direct Investment, gross domestic product, the real effective exchange rate, and global financial crisis on processed coffee export performance. From the results of the analysis, it was found that RCA, foreign direct investment, and gross domestic product have a positive influence on the export value of coffee derivative products while the real effective exchange rate and global financial crisis have a negative influence on the export value of coffee derivative products.
