This study presents the results of investigating the effects of pre-sowing ultraviolet (UV) irradiation of Suaeda salsa seeds on laboratory germination, germination energy, seedling emergence time, plant growth, and stand density under field conditions. The research was conducted in two stages. In the first stage, the effects of different UV irradiation treatments on laboratory germination and germination energy were evaluated. In the second stage, the treated seeds were sown in open-field conditions to assess plant growth, development, and stand establishment. The results demonstrated that pre-sowing UV treatment increased laboratory germination to 100%, accelerated seed germination, reduced field seedling emergence time by 8–9 days, increased the average plant height to 40–55 cm, and improved stand density to 90–96 plants m². These findings indicate that pre-sowing ultraviolet irradiation is an effective and environmentally friendly method for improving the sowing quality of Suaeda salsa seeds and enhancing plant productivity under saline soil conditions.
