Perspektif Green Social Work terhadap Akses Sumber Daya pada Ketahanan Keluarga Petani dalam Menghadapi Ketidakpastian Kondisi Cuaca di Pangalengan

Weather uncertainty can increase the vulnerability of smallholder farming families with limited productive resources. This study aims to analyze family resilience processes in responding to weather uncertainty by examining resource access and mobilization through a Green Social Work perspective. A qualitative case study was conducted in Pulosari Village, Pangalengan District, Bandung Regency, Indonesia. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and document analysis involving three smallholder farming families and four supporting informants. Data analysis followed Creswell and Poth’s six-stage approach, using Ungar’s seven resilience processes as the initial analytical framework. The findings indicate that limited access to land, capital, fertilizers, water, information, and institutional support constrains families’ adaptive options. Pump use helps sustain agricultural production during dry periods but increases farming costs. Social relationships provide support while potentially creating economic dependence. Families also diversify their livelihoods and adjust household expenditures. The study concludes that family resilience depends not only on internal adaptive capacities but also on equitable resource access, community support, and structural conditions that shape families’ livelihood choices.
