Pengembangan Desain Dukungan Psikososial bagi Lanjut Usia melalui Pos Pembinaan Terpadu
Posbindu services for older adults predominantly emphasize physical health, while structured, participatory psychosocial support through peer group activities remains underdeveloped in the study setting. This study aimed to develop an integrated psychosocial support design through Participatory Action Research (PAR) in Sukaratu Village, Cianjur Regency. A qualitative approach involved 15 purposively selected participants. Data were collected through focus group discussions, in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. PAR involved initial design reflection, needs identification, collaborative planning, implementation, participatory evaluation, and final design formulation. Findings informed the establishment of Sagala, legally recognized community-based teams in each hamlet, service guidebooks, capacity strengthening, and structured peer activities integrated into Posbindu. Observed outcomes included increased social interaction, emotional openness, and participation among older adults. The study’s novelty lies in integrating participatory community organizing and peer-based psychosocial support into existing Posbindu services, offering a practical framework for community social work with older adults.
