Do Crypto Influencers Beat Bitcoin? Checking 17,820 Public Trade Calls from 63 Telegram, YouTube and X Authors

We checked the public trade calls of 63 crypto opinion leaders on Telegram, YouTube and X (2017–2026) against real exchange prices: 17,820 checked calls. Pooled, 51.9% were right, close to a coin flip. A follower who put $100 into every call from a $1,000 start beat simply buying Bitcoin on the same days for only 24 of 63 authors; the median follower ended with $1,180 versus $1,272 in Bitcoin.
