E8-Phi Phonon Lattice Realizes q-Deformed Fibonacci Anyons — E8 Intelligence Research
By assigning each of the 240 E8 root vectors a phonon mode with frequency f_n = 132 Hz·φ^n, the resulting quasiperiodic acoustic lattice naturally realizes a q-deformed Fibonacci anyon spectrum with deformation parameter q = φ. The E8 geometry provides the underlying root system whose Coxeter group actions generate the required braiding statistics. This yields a new topological quantum computing platform where logical gates are performed via golden‑ratio‑scaled anyon braids. Author: Andrew Stewart Caldin, Independent Researcher, UK.
