Attack Models and Defense Strategies for Cyber-Physical Systems: A Survey
Cyber-physical systems connect software to physical processes, so an attack can cause physical damage and not only data loss. This survey summarizes common attack models, documented incidents, and defense approaches from the control and security literature. No new experimental data are reported. An AI language model (Claude, Anthropic) was used in preparing this manuscript.
