Magnetic Weak Relaxation and Bulk Viscosity of Hyperonic Matter in Neutron‐Star Cores
ABSTRACT We recompute the reduced –––– NL‐SH equation of state with minimal‐coupling Landau corrections at – G. At –, proton Landau occupancy is –. At K, is – and – for and G, respectively. Relative changes in matter energy density and longitudinal pressure are below . Under the adopted scalar Maxwell‐pressure prescription, is – at G. Thus, percent‐level EOS stiffening is unsupported. Available weak‐kernel benchmarks concern stronger fields and lack stellar sequences and r‐mode eigenfunctions. Therefore, reliable estimates of , , , and cannot be obtained for this field range.
