Tooth supported overdenture with OT Equator attachment: Case report
The primary objective of prosthodontic treatment is to restore aesthetics, functional and masticatory efficiency through a well-fitting and functional prosthesis. An overdenture is a removable partial or complete denture supported by retained teeth or roots, offering improved retention and stability. Mandibular tooth-supported overdentures provide additional benefits, including preservation of alveolar bone and maintenance of proprioception. Attachment systems can further enhance the retention and stability of mandibular complete dentures. The use of OT Equator attachments provides a simple and effective approach to achieving improved retention while addressing the functional, economic, and social needs of patients, thereby contributing to greater comfort and satisfaction.
