Pengaruh Economic Value Added, Earning Per Share, dan Ukuran Perusahaan Terhadap Kelayakan Investasi Saham pada Perusahaan Sektor Telekomunikasi yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia
This study aims to examine the effect of Economic Value Added (EVA), Earnings Per Share (EPS), and firm size on stock investment feasibility in telecommunications companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2022–2025. Stock investment feasibility is proxied by the Price Earnings Ratio (PER). This study employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from quarterly financial statements. The population consists of 17 telecommunications companies, from which 11 companies were selected through purposive sampling based on the availability of complete quarterly financial statements. The final dataset comprises 176 observations. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, and an F-test with IBM SPSS Statistics version 25. The results show that EVA, EPS, and firm size each have a positive and statistically significant effect on PER. Simultaneously, the three independent variables have a significant effect on PER. The coefficient of determination indicates that approximately 34.3% of the variation in PER is explained by EVA, EPS, and firm size, while the remaining variation is explained by other factors outside the research model. These findings suggest that investors may consider value creation, earnings per share, and company scale as part of fundamental analysis when assessing telecommunications stocks.
