A Rigorous Discrete Network Framework for Topological Stability, Spectral Soft-Mode Collapse, Nonlinear Localization, and Non-Equilibrium Thermodynamics
This paper establishes a mathematically closed framework for analyzing structural stability, soft-mode bifurcations, nonlinear localization, and non-equilibrium phase transitions in complex open networks. Abandoning heuristic analogies, I rigorously derive the Dissipative Discrete Nonlinear Schrödinger (D-DNLS) equation and its stochastic extension (S-D-DNLS) on graphs via multiscale envelope expansion of weakly non-linear open oscillator networks coupled to external reservoirs and noise sources. By employing the combinatorial graph Laplacian consistently across micro-dynamics, Jacobian linearization, polar decomposition, and stochastic thermodynamics, I analytically resolve the transition from soft-mode delocalization to discrete nonlinear self-trapping (χ_eff), formulate the spectral-homological bounding conjecture, establish the exact path-integral fluctuation relations (Seifert-Crooks framework), and define the explicit non-zero entropy production rate Σ(t) driven by open-system boundary fluxes and stochastic degradation.
