A Spectral–Algebraic Framework for Non–Perturbative Yang–Mills Mass Generation, Spontaneous Chiral Symmetry Breaking, and Confinement via Invariant Gauge Singlets
We construct a self-contained quantum-algebraic framework to model the simultaneous mechanisms of non-perturbative vector mass generation, spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking, and color confinement in four-dimensional Yang–Mills theories for a compact simple gauge group G. By evaluating the spectral topology of the infinite-dimensional quotient configuration space A/G restricted to the regular Gribov sector, we define an emergent geometric connection field derived from the space-time projection of the canonical horizontal distribution. Utilizing the exact gauge-dressing formalism of Lavelle–McMullan, the fundamental matter sector is mapped onto dressed physical fermion fields \(\chi \) transforming as gauge singlets. The effective algebra of observables within the restricted domain is modeled via a Connes–Takesaki crossed product decomposition, regularizing the primordial Type III\({}_{1}\) factor into an embedded Type II\({}_{1}\) sub-algebra \(\mathcal{M}_{\text{vac}}\) characterized by a continuous dimension spectrum. The non-local dressed gluon field \(B_{\mu }\) inherits a local gauge singlet invariance, enabling the exact derivation of its field strength tensor \(G_{\mu \nu }^{B}\) and an infrared-stable decoupling renormalization group flow. We demonstrate that under specific geometric constraints analyzed via functional renormalization, the perturbatively trivial vacuum is variationally unstable, triggering a stable geometric condensation \(\langle\phi\rangle_0 = v^2_{\text{geom}} > 0\) via a dynamical auxiliary field formulation that establishes a strictly positive lower spectral bound for the generalized Laplace operator, dynamically generating an effective vector mass scale \(M_{\text{eff}}\). This configuration acts as an infrared regulator in the Schwinger–Dyson equations, driving spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking, and enforcing an exact area law for non-local Wilson loops. The framework is validated via a Markov Chain Monte Carlo simulation tracking the second-order chiral phase transition.
