Quantitative Paleographic Analysis and Pharmaceutical Stenography Model of the Voynich Manuscript (MS 408)

This research presents a quantitative paleographic and computational analysis of the Voynich Manuscript (Beinecke MS 408), decoding its text through a standardized operating procedure (SOP) and a pharmaceutical stenography model.Situated within the context of 15th-century apothecary traditions and spagyric hydrotherapy manuals, this study offers a reproducible quantitative parser and Python-based linguistic scripts to resolve longstanding paleographic ambiguities. The findings provide robust structural and statistical evidence for the manuscript's practical pharmacological origin.

Abstract

This research presents a quantitative paleographic and computational analysis of the Voynich Manuscript (Beinecke MS 408), decoding its text through a standardized operating procedure (SOP) and a pharmaceutical stenography model.Situated within the context of 15th-century apothecary traditions and spagyric hydrotherapy manuals, this study offers a reproducible quantitative parser and Python-based linguistic scripts to resolve longstanding paleographic ambiguities. The findings provide robust structural and statistical evidence for the manuscript's practical pharmacological origin.
