Digital toolbox for or inclusive mobility practitioners & replication

The Fair Mobility Toolbox is a practice-oriented document designed to support professionals and organisations involved in mobility and public space planning. The specifi c aim is to provide resources to facilitate the improvement of fairness, safety and equity in mobility for vulnerable groups, with an accent on gender. The current edition brings together 20 tools: four tools developed within or in collaboration with the Fair Mobility project and 16 selected external tools, methods, databases, guidelines and learning resources. Together, they address gender-responsive mobility, accessibility, safety, care mobility, transport poverty, public-space design, digital inclusion, participation and institutional assessment. This deliverable supports Fair Mobility by providing tools to improve the mobility experiences and answer the needs of women and gender minorities while applying an intersectional perspective to the other circumstances that shape access to mobility and public life, including age, disability, income, care responsibilities and migration or social background. The Toolbox refl ects this approach by combining quantitative and spatial tools with methods that treat lived experience, participation and community knowledge as valid planning evidence. Resources cover four broad practitioner needs: learning and raising awareness, assessing and analysing, co-designing and engaging, and planning and implementing. Each tool entry summarises who the resource is for, what type of tool it is, which Fair Mobility themes it addresses, where it can be applied, its access conditions, available languages and the relevant source link. Fair Mobility has been funded by BMFTR, FFG, ANR and UEFISCDI under the Driving Urban Transitions Partnership, which has been co-funded by the European Commission.
