Abstract

The article aims to provide theoretical support for motivation and team interaction as components of the mechanism of innovative human resource management in banking institutions. The study employs the analytical method to synthesize theoretical approaches to motivation and team interaction; the comparative method to identify the specific characteristics of financial and non-financial incentives and teamwork tools; the systems method to examine the interrelationship between motivational factors and team interaction; and the structural-analytical method to identify the components of the mechanism for innovative human resource management in banking institutions. The article synthesizes scientific approaches to employee motivation, the development of employees’ professional potential, and the organization of teamwork. It supports the interrelationship between motivational components and team interaction in fostering employee innovation. The study identifies key areas of innovative human resource management in banking institutions and criteria for evaluating its outcomes. This study proposes a mechanism for innovative human resource management in banking institutions. The rationale for evaluating this mechanism’s effectiveness at the individual, team, and organizational levels is substantiated. The scientific novelty lies in substantiating the interrelationship between motivation and team interaction as components of the mechanism for innovative human resource management in banking institutions. This mechanism involves the coordinated application of financial and non-financial incentives, the development of team interaction, and the evaluation of employees’ innovation performance at the individual, team, and organizational levels. The practical significance of the findings lies in applying the proposed mechanism in banking institutions to improve human resource management, foster employee innovation, and enhance teamwork effectiveness. Future research could examine how digital communication and knowledge-sharing tools affect interaction between a bank’s organizational units, as well as the factors that influence employee engagement in developing and implementing innovative solutions. Keywords: motivation, team interaction, mechanism, innovative management, human resource, banking institutions, innovation, human resource management, teamwork, employee engagement, professional development.
