The Planetary Economic Ecosystem (PEE): Earth as One Living Economic Organism
This white paper states, defines, and operationalises the Planetary Economic Ecosystem (PEE), originated by Jude Onemolease: the correct container of economic life is not "the market" and not "the nation." It is one integrated living economic organism in which markets, corridors, firms, and jurisdictions are subsystems. Fragmented units fail because they treat leakage as efficiency and treat informal metabolism as pre-economic residue. The paper supplies a canonical definition; a standard modal representation; philosophical posture; a literature review of containers (nation, market, world-system, biosphere, doughnut, commons); tenets of PEE; four metabolic flows (ecological, social, knowledge, economic); multi-scale coherence and the leakage operator; the aggregation R(t) = sum of nodal contributions plus residual; informal and formal as one metabolism; ecosystem-health metrics versus GDP, including Master Document RSI/GRS; industry cases; and a diagnostic method. Full governance-layer design and the sovereign-ultrastructure stack remain companion objects. The argument is universal and non-sectarian.
