Rhyacophila rupta subsp. rupta MacLachlan 1879
Rhyacophila rupta rupta MacLachlan, 1879 TAXO. Oláh and Vinçon (2023) raised the status of the previously subspecies Rhyacophila rupta erkakanae Sipahiler, 1993 to the species levels, Rhyacophila erkakanae Sipahiler, 1993, but with only one specimen examined (one adult male). Since we have never collected this latter and lack sufficient knowledge about these species, we have decided to retain the subspecies nomenclature that existed prior to the publication by Oláh and Vinçon (2023).
