Drug addiction leads to various types of criminal activities including theft, robbery, snatching, murder, rape and eve-teasing, which are thed8 serious threat to the peace and stability of the country. In review of various statistics and analyzing some sensational crimes occurred recently, it has been observed that there is a link between drug and crime, drug addiction influences in committing crime. Drug addicts are involving in various anti-social activities to get money for drugs. Despite the government's zero tolerance policy on terrorism and drugs, the implementation of various existing laws and the measures taken by various international organizations including the United Nations, drug-related crimes are continuing to occur. Gradually it’s hindering the socio-economic development of the country. Islam has formulated an eternal and effective policy to reduce the crime and drug addiction from the society. This article has aimed to describe the Islamic principles and views on the effect of drug on committing crime and to find the ways of its remedies in the perspective of Islam. Descriptive and Analytical Methods have been followed in this research. The article shows that integrated application of conventional and Islamic law, awakening of religious and moral values ​​and raising public awareness can cure rising crimes and drugs from the country. সারসংক্ষেপ: মাদকাসক্তি চুরি, ডাকাতি, ছিনতাই, হত্যা, ধর্ষণ এবং ইভটিজিংসহ বিভিন্ন ধরনের অপরাধমূলক কর্মকা-ের জন্ম দেয়, যা দেশের শান্তি ও স্থিতিশীলতার জন্য একটি গুরুতর হুমকি। বিভিন্ন পরিসংখ্যান পর্যালোচনা এবং সাম্প্রতিক সময়ে সংঘটিত কয়েকটি আলোচিত অপরাধ বিশ্লেষণ করে দেখা যায় যে, মাদক ও অপরাধের মধ্যে ঘনিষ্ঠ সম্পর্ক রয়েছে; মাদকাসক্তি মানুষকে অপরাধ সংঘটনে প্রভাবিত করে। মাদকের অর্থ জোগাড় করতে মাদকাসক্ত ব্যক্তিরা বিভিন্ন অসামাজিক কর্মকা-ে জড়িয়ে পড়ে। সন্ত্রাসবাদ ও মাদকের বিরুদ্ধে সরকারের জিরো টলারেন্স নীতি, বিদ্যমান বিভিন্ন আইনের বাস্তবায়ন এবং জাতিসংঘসহ বিভিন্ন আন্তর্জাতিক সংস্থার গৃহীত উদ্যোগ সত্ত্বেও মাদকসংশ্লিষ্ট অপরাধ অব্যাহত রয়েছে। ক্রমেই এসব অপরাধ দেশের সামাজিক ও অর্থনৈতিক উন্নয়নকে বাধাগ্রস্ত করছে। সমাজ থেকে অপরাধ ও মাদকাসক্তি দূরীকরণের লক্ষ্যে ইসলাম একটি চিরন্তন ও কার্যকর নীতিমালা প্রদান করেছে। এই প্রবন্ধের উদ্দেশ্য হলো বাংলাদেশে মাদকাসক্তি ও অপরাধ প্রবণতার পারস্পরিক সম্পর্ক নির্ধারণ করা এবং অপরাধ সংঘটনে মাদকের প্রভাব সম্পর্কে ইসলামের নীতিমালা ও প্রতিকারের উপায় অনুসন্ধান করা। এ গবেষণায় বর্ণনামূলক (উবংপৎরঢ়ঃরাব) এবং বিশ্লেষণাত্মক (অহধষুঃরপধষ) গবেষণা-পদ্ধতি অনুসরণ করা হয়েছে। গবেষণার ফলাফলে প্রতীয়মান হয়েছে যে, প্রচলিত আইন ও ইসলামী আইনের সমন্বিত প্রয়োগ, ধর্মীয় ও নৈতিক মূল্যবোধের জাগরণ এবং জনসচেতনতা বৃদ্ধির মাধ্যমে দেশে ক্রমবর্ধমান অপরাধ ও মাদকাসক্তি কার্যকরভাবে নিয়ন্ত্রণ করা সম্ভব।
