Edukasi Cinta, Bangga, Paham Rupiah bagi Masyarakat Desa Kapuran, Ponorogo
The Indonesian Rupiah functions not only as legal tender but also as a symbol of national sovereignty and identity. This community service activity was conducted to strengthen public understanding of the Cinta, Bangga, Paham Rupiah program, particularly in recognizing, caring for, and verifying the authenticity of Rupiah banknotes. The activity was carried out on 8 August 2026 at the Kapuran Village Hall, Badegan District, Ponorogo Regency, and involved 20 participants from the general public. The implementation consisted of material delivery and direct practice using the 3D method, namely looking, touching, and holding the banknote up to the light. Evaluation was conducted through observation of participant involvement, direct practice, and a question-and-answer review at the end of the activity. Most participants showed strong curiosity, especially during the authenticity verification session. At the beginning of the practice, several participants had difficulty distinguishing the characteristics of authentic and counterfeit banknotes. After receiving guidance and repeating the examination more carefully, participants began to recognize the differences in the characteristics observed. The activity indicated that combining conceptual education with direct practice created a more participatory learning process and provided concrete experience for the community. The activity also highlighted the need for continued Rupiah literacy education supported by simple evaluation instruments in future programs.
