A GUERRA ASSIMÉTRICA DA INFORMAÇÃO: LIÇÕES DO EMPREGO DE GEOINT NO CONFLITO ISRAEL-HAMAS
This article reflects on the application of Geointelligence in the war between Israel and Hamas. The intention is to present how much this source of intelligence has developed in this conflict, which has gained new momentum since 2023. The established time frame extends from the year 2000 to the present day. It is observed that Geographic Intelligence is approached in a dual way by both sides. Israel has a technological approach, obtaining data mainly remotely. Hamas, on the other hand, has an analog modus operandi, using human sources to obtain data. This work demonstrates that Geography continues to dictate the course of the war. Fundamental concepts in this work will be: Asymmetric Warfare, Geographic Intelligence, Space and Territory.
