FIGURATIVENESS AND PHILOSOPHICAL CONCEPT IN THE GENRES OF THE ODE AND THE TARIYP: THE LYRICS OF J. KEATS AND I. YUSUPOV AS EXAMPLES

The article analyzes, from a comparative-typological perspective, the work "Ode Dedicated to the Grecian Urn" by the English Romantic poet John Keats (Ode on a Grecian Urn) and the tariyp (praise poem) "Qobız" by Ibrayim Yusupov, a classic of Karakalpak poetry. The study is aimed at revealing figurativeness and the philosophical concept through objects of material culture and art (the urn and the qobız). The article shows how J. Keats, uniting infinite time with the eternal spirit of art, advances aesthetic and philosophical ideas through the images on the urn, and how I. Yusupov, through the national musical instrument qobız, reflects the historical fate, ethno-cultural memories and spiritual depth of the Karakalpak people; the poetics of reflecting national and universal human philosophy is revealed.
